Are you using an Android device and want to understand how to add widgets on Android? Don't worry, I'm here to help you.
If you use a smartphone with stock Android, such as Google's Pixel, from the home screen, hold your finger down on an "empty" spot on the screen (so where there are no icons) and, from the menu that opens, tap on the Widget item. Once this is done, from the list that appears, locate the app for which you want to add the widget, tap on it, then choose the type of widget you prefer, if more than one is available. Once you have located it, hold your finger down on it and drag it to the point on the home screen where you want to place it.
On a Samsung smartphone, instead, press and hold on an empty area of the Home screen and, from the menu that appears at the bottom, tap on the Widget item. From the list that appears on the screen, locate the app for which you want to add the widget and tap on it to open the drop-down menu: from the menu that opens, choose the widget you like, tap on it and then on the Add button.
On Huawei smartphones, instead, from the Home screen, pinch lightly on the screen and then tap on the Service Widgets tab in the bottom menu: from the list that appears, scroll down until you find the widget of the app you want to add. Once this is done, select the widget to add and then press the Add to Home screen button, or drag it to the position you prefer.
Finally, on Xiaomi smartphones, press and hold on an empty area of the device's Home screen and, from the menu that appears at the bottom, tap on the Widget button. From the list that appears on the screen, locate the app for which you want to add the widget, tap on the one you prefer and the widget will be automatically inserted into the device's home screen. Alternatively, press and hold on it and then drag it to the position you prefer.
